Who we are
St. Michael’s Episcopal Church is an expression of the body of Christ in Cookeville, Tennessee. Our members possess a diversity of gifts and talents, viewpoints, and ages, but are united by faith in Jesus as we join together in worship, fellowship and ministry.
We are a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee, and thus part of a communion of approximately 1.6 million members in the Americas and abroad known as The Episcopal Church. The Episcopal Church belongs to the world-wide Anglican Communion, a community of over 85 million Christians in more than 160 countries.
We hope you will feel a part of the St. Michael’s family the moment you enter the building! Please fill out the visitor card in the pew so that we can connect with you. Feel free to ask any questions. You are free to join in as much or as little of the service as you wish.
